Taylor currently serves as the mental performance coach for a Paralympic team. Taylor takes an individualized approach to counseling 和 tailors each intervention to the person with whom she is working. Taylor uses a wide range of skills 和 interventions to support students as they navigate their concerns. Examples include mindfulness, acceptance 和 commitment therapy, 动机性访谈, dialectical behavior therapy 和 solution-focused therapy.

Taylor is originally from Indiana 和 has spent most of her life here. Because of this, she loves all things winter. She also enjoys riding her bike on the various trails of Fort Wayne, 观看体育赛事, trying new restaurants 和 eating ice cream. She has a long-haired German shepherd named Taia. Together, they enjoy watching TV, eating popcorn 和 visiting the Dairy Queen drive-through.

Taylor received her bachelor’s degree from Gr和 Valley State University 和 double majored in psychology 和 exercise science. While at GVSU, she was on the women’s basketball team. She also holds two master’s degrees from Ball State University in clinical mental health counseling 和 sport 和 exercise psychology.
